This seemed to start out as "just a ghost story." But it quickly became deeper and more complicated, and I enjoyed it so much. Emmaline takes her sensitivity to the spirit world to a ranch resort to help the owners rid themselves of a spirit disrupting their guests. Blade is tortured by a ghostly presence that he can't understand. He and Emmaline search for the meaning of his problems and deepen their own feelings for each other.Product details

This has been on my "to read" list for awhile, found it on KU the other day so I grabbed it. The story line is what interested me but it is soooo slow and dry. I have stopped/started it several times. you are reading along and then Blade/Emmaline are suddenly taken over from their past and the reader is lost. I have had to back up so many times as I am not sure what is going on. The ghost aspect (Rosalie) is easy to follow, Blade can also interact with the ghost but yet throws such a fit about Emmaline being there for the exact same thing - but when their past lives take over its very confusing. Not sure I will be able to finish - at 62% now and I lose interest quickly. Very disappointed after having it on my "want to read" list for a year.
